Texas Flood Response

Summary
Deployed during the emergency response phase following catastrophic flooding across Kerr County. Served in search and recovery operations, victim and survivor support, clean-up debris removal, property recovery efforts, and community assistance alongside nonprofit response organizations, emergency teams, and local volunteers. Worked directly with affected residents while observing the coordination challenges that emerge from fragmented response and when multiple organizations operate simultaneously.

Summary
Supported logistics and humanitarian operations following Hurricane Melissa, including supply procurement and distribution, inventory management, transportation coordination, and community outreach support. Worked alongside government leaders, local leaders, and international nonprofit organizations to strengthen operational capacity, resource delivery and recovery efforts.
Venezuela Earthquake Response

Summary
Prepared for international deployment following the Caracas earthquakes while supporting response planning, situational awareness, logistics research, and coordination from the United States. Although deployment was ultimately not possible for many US teams due to immigration backlogs, the experience reinforced the importance of reliable information sharing, international coordination, and interoperable response systems.

Summary
Returned to Central Texas following renewed catastrophic flooding to assist with community recovery efforts, wellness checks, assessments, and resource connection for survivors with response volunteers and organizations. Observed organizations establish operations, communicate capabilities, and coordinate requests for assistance with impacted locals. These field observations continue to inform the long-term vision for Global Response Hub.
